There are a wide variety of shops here, from larger retail shops such as Asda, Aldi and Sainsburys as well as smaller independent shops located on the high street and market in Colne. Additionally, on the outskirts, Boundary Mill attracts visitors from the whole of Lancashire. Boundary Mill contains many outlet clothing shops, with huge discounts on many products.
Transport In and Around Colne
Colne is very easily accessible with M65 motorway links as well as a train station connecting Colne to Nelson, Brierfield, Burnley, Preston and Blackpool. Additionally, there are frequent busses in the town centre taking residents to Padiham, Clitheroe, Accrington, Burnley, Trawden and Skipton.
Entertainment
Restaurants and bars are dotted all over Colne, including some of our favourites such as Tubbs of Colne, Jaipur Indian Restaurant and No.62, so be sure to give them a try! There are many venues to enjoy live music such as The Venue and The Muni Theatre. Events are also a regular occurrence in this quirky village. The Colne Grand Prix, Blues Festival and Beer Festival all take place annually and are enjoyed by many.
