Will’s is a wine bar and kitchen in Barrowford. They serve some delicious food and drinks throughout the afternoon and evening! They are currently closed due to the second lockdown, however, they will be accepting bookings at the end of November, as long as the government allows them to reopen. The M65 is located very close to Barrowford, connecting the town with Darwen, Blackburn, Nelson and more! This makes it a perfect commuting route!
This bustling village also has a very efficient bus system connecting it with towns such as Burnley, Nelson and Clitheroe. Their closest train station is Nelson Station, 1.07 miles away and Colne Station 1.49 miles away taking people to Manchester, Burnley and even Blackpool!
Entertainment
The Pendle Heritage Centre is located in Barrowford. It has a museum, shop, walled garden, bluebell wood and a tea room, the perfect place to enjoy a day out. The museum includes history about the Pendle Witches, Pendle Forest and the Park Holl farmstead. Their gardens are filled with gorgeous plants and flowers surrounding by 18th-century walls. Additionally, their tea room overlooks the beautiful garden, the perfect place to enjoy home-made cakes whilst looking at the amazing view! Pendle Heritage Centre is also home to the two oldest buildings in Barrowford!
Unfortunately, it is currently closed due to the second lockdown, but it is definitely a place to visit once the restrictions have lifted!
A short drive away is also Pendle Hill. This is the site of some of the most famous witch trials in British history! The walk up the hill is definitely rewarding once you get to the top especially if its nice weather!
